Police and forensic team secured the location where the body was found. Alex was busy talking to a policeman. Meanwhile, Jennifer waited for the bodies to be evacuated nervously. When the body bag made it to the top. Jennifer came closer.
"Is this corpse Jennifer?" Jennifer's voice trembled at the mention of her own name.
"This is a provisional assumption. The autopsy results will explain everything," said one of the forensics team.
Jennifer looked at the body bag that was put in the car. Several teams left immediately. Meanwhile, the police are still investigating the location. Hoping for more evidence to be found.
Along with the busy night. Seen a car one of the private televisions arrived at the location. The news spread so fast. They come with complete broadcasting equipment. Jennifer took a few steps back. Being recorded on television will be a threat. Jennifer's face should not be recorded on television.
"Let's go," said Alex.
"Are you done with your business?" Jennifer asked.
"That's it. Don't get caught on camera. You must be worried your father will come here. I'll take you home."
Jennifer is very grateful. Alex is an understanding person. Jennifer was brought home. But Alex will return to the hospital.
"I have to gather a lot of information. Are you feeling any better? You must be very surprised to find a body there."
"I'm fine. Go," Jennifer said.
"Okay. If you feel insecure. Call me," Alex said.
Jennifer nodded. Alex immediately went to the hospital. Meanwhile Jennifer turned on the television. She was curious what the media said. Because the media always has a unique way of making news more interesting. Sometimes the media also mediates the existence of a possibility that the police cannot disclose. Jennifer wanted to know if the body would be linked to the fire at her home.
Jennifer sat down and searched for the television channel that carried the latest news. She still remembered the name of the television channel written on their car. But when Jennifer changes the channel, it turns out that the television channel in question is showing a romance film. Jennifer was bored and wanted to change the channel, but just as she was about to press the button the movie was stopped and the emergency news was broadcast. Jennifer refuses to change channels.
The news anchors began to read their latest news. As Jennifer expected. The corpse was presumed to be him. And for a while the news anchors couldn't say for sure whether the decomposing body found was Jennifer or not. Jennifer turned off the television. She leaned back in the chair and took a deep breath. Her heart never stopped beating. Imagining if the corpse was Jennifer, what a frightening image.
Jennifer began to think about meeting her sister soon. But she had no clue. Then Jennifer remembered the book that the residents had given her that was supposed to be Janeth's. Where is the book located?
Jennifer remembered that before the accident the book was in her trouser pocket along with the key. But after waking up Jennifer doesn't have it anymore. Even Alex never mentioned it. Could it be that Alex had hidden the two things on purpose?
Jennifer shook her head. Alex will not hide the two objects. Finally Jennifer decided to go where the accident happened. She immediately went to the street and looked for a taxi. Luckily it wasn't hard to find a taxi in the area. So that within ten minutes, Jennifer arrived at the location.
Jennifer stood across the street and recalled where her car had come from and where the car that had hit her had arrived. Then when the car stopped and when Alex got him out of the car. All of that happened right where she was standing right now.
Turns out there was a drain hole there. Jennifer took out her cell phone and checked the hole. She could see the key was there. The name engraving on the key stem is clearly visible. It was the name of a famous bank in the city.
Jennifer tried to retrieve the key, but the water inlet was very narrow. The finger can go in but the whole hand can't.
"This is harder than I thought," Jennifer said.
Jennifer had to open the metal frame to open the drain. But that is very difficult to do. Because, Jennifer had to bring a handyman tool to open it.
"It's useless. What should I do," Jennifer said to herself. Some of the people who saw Jennifer having a hard time seemed unconcerned. They all seemed to be in a rush for time. Looks like Jennifer will have to leave the lock on tonight and come back with the proper tools.
"What are you doing?" Reprimand a woman. It's okay, I'm just checking my feet," Jennifer said. She immediately stood up and left the place, before attracting people's attention and many asking questions.
Jennifer stopped again and decided to head home. She arrived home when Alex called him on her cell phone.
"I have good news," said Alex.
Jennifer's heart skipped a beat. The image that the body was him returned to haunt her mind.
"Is that true!?!" Jennifer answered, praying silently that the corpse wasn't her.
"The police allowed us to work together on this novel. We'll be notified whenever there's any developments in the case. And meanwhile they're saying there's a ninety percent chance that the body is Jennifer. But I hope not. Because if Jennifer dies my novel will be finished too. ."
"What do you mean?" Jennifer asked.
"The main character of this story is Jennifer. If she dies, my novel will also end," said Alex in a sad voice.
"Not really. This story must continue no matter what happens. Even if Jennifer dies. The perpetrators of all these crimes must be revealed. You calm down first. We'll talk after you're here," Jennifer said trying to calm Alex.
"Okay. See you at home."
Phone connection is lost. Jennifer rubbed her face roughly. She felt her throat dry. Jennifer immediately went to the fridge and got a glass of water to drink. As she passed Alex's room, she saw that Alex's room was not closed. Looks like Alex forgot to close the door. After drinking a glass of water, Jennifer was curious about the contents of Alex's room. She decided to go in slowly and find out something. Like who Alex is. But when Jennifer came in. There wasn't anything of value there. Or something that gave Jennifer a hint. Not even a family photo. Alex's room only consisted of a mattress and a wardrobe. That is it. There are no photos or wall decorations. The room looks plain without any decoration.
This condition, of course, needs to be questioned. Generally someone likes to display something in his room. It was as if his room was his territory that no one else could control and enter without permission. So usually they will display something that represents themselves. Like hobbies, fanpics to family photos. Or something secret and special. Meanwhile, Alex's room is only a mattress and a wardrobe with clothes that have the same color,
