The village girl looked staring at Hendra, who was holding a gun in his hand. There was a hint of suspicion in his eyes and he was reluctant to leave the riverbank.
"Hurry up to the mainland! We do not mean to you. Trust me! There is a crocodile that is after you if you do not get away quickly," shouted Hendra. He crouched down and put his gun on the floor of the bridge so that the girl was not prejudiced.
The country girl blinked her eyes for a moment, her gaze softened, half in disbelief, then with a cautious attitude as she kept her gaze still on Hendra, she slowly climbed onto the bridge. "Thank you for reminding me. Who are you?" He asked softly. Hendra guessed that he was around sixteen to seventeen years old.
With a relieved smile, Hendra replied, "We are lost, and want to ask you about the area here. Can we stop by ...?"
The country girl nodded. Her ponytail swayed as she moved her head. "Why get lost? Isn't this area not allowed to be visited? You shouldn't be coming here." The country girl widened her eyes. He didn't seem to care much about his drenched clothes. Shows her beautiful curves.
"So you mean, this place is also in a restricted area?" Lusia asked back. He then looked at Hendra with a look of horror.
"No, too, but our place of residence is indeed adjacent to the forbidden land, which is why it is so rare for people to come here," replied the girl.
He glanced at Hendra. "I have to tell my grandmother first if a stranger comes in here," he said. Then he turned back towards the hut.
"Hold on ..." Hendra tried to prevent him from turning around. "We're not allowed to come here ...? Then we'll just go now."
The girl turned away again with a smile. "I'm not saying you can't be here. I just wanted to tell my grandmother that we had a special guest. It's rare for people to come here," he said.
The girl then quickly walked along the bridge to her humble house.
Hendra and Lusia looked at each other.
"Are you sure this is all logical, Hen?" whispered Lusia. He stared at the hut with a confused look.
"Why?" Hendra furrowed his brows.
"Think about it! A woman with a beautiful face, clean skin, living secluded in the forest, and having no access to the outside world, why is that possible? And her way of speaking shows that she has a decent intellectual, it feels impossible if she is a jungle dweller. isolated ... "
"Did you see his feet touch the ground or not?" Hendra asked with a mocking smile.
"Not that I want to say that he is a ghost! I just wanted to say, maybe this is part of the oddities that we experience since in the forbidden land area!" Lusia answered in a slightly high-pitched manner.
"Think positive once in a while, what's the matter?" Hendra laughed.
"You seem so happy to stop by this place. She is beautiful!" Lusia said in a jealous tone. His face was slightly sullen.
Not long after, the village girl came out of the house again. He waved at them.
"Come in, my grandmother welcomes you if you want to spend the night!" he said.
Hendra and Lusia looked at each other.
The girl went back into the hut, never came out again after that.
"Shall we just go in, Hen? I wanted to ask if this area has any access roads after what we experienced?" Lusia made a suggestion.
Hendra then interrupted, "Maybe we won't find our way home, so we can stay at this place," when he said that Hendra grinned. Without realizing a sentence like that can hurt the feelings of a woman who secretly likes him.
Lusia immediately stared at him. He felt that his struggle to risk his life to be close to that young man had only been thwarted for an instant by the runny girl in this forest. Jeez! What is this?! This shouldn't be happening! His face immediately flushed red.
"Yes, if necessary, just stay here until the Day of Judgment," said Lusia coldly.
He led a step toward the hut, with his feet slightly stomped on the floor of the bridge. His face was a little sullen, but Hendra did not see it because the girl's position was back to him.
And the young man was a little confused by Lusia's spontaneous reaction just now.
"Luis! Don't rush in there just yet ...!" He reminded. Prevent the girl from breaking into the house. Because he was worried that it was all just a trap from all the oddities they encountered.
Lusia stopped in his tracks. The girl turned away. His frown was still visible even though it was vague.
"How angry ...?" Hendra gaped.
Lucite's flat face. "You think it's nice to spend the night here? In a place where you don't even know if this is the supernatural or the real world? Anyway, we have to find our way home as soon as possible, Hen!"
"Who's out there ...?" a hoarse voice came from inside the hut. His voice sounded heavy and restless. Then came a coughing sound. An old woman's voice, maybe very old.
The country girl hurriedly started to enter.
Lusia looked at Hendra. His gaze remained cold. Slowly he pressed himself towards the young man. His face looks serious. "Do you know why I got mad at you ...?" His hiss.
Hendra furrowed his brows. "I don't know. Why?"
Lusia leaned closer to the handsome young man. "Because I've been wanting to do this to you, I was holding on ..." Lusia immediately hugged the young man wildly. Hendra's surprise had not yet disappeared, the girl immediately kissed his lips, then crushed them gently. Sometimes he stuck the tip of his tongue into the young man's output.
The young man's body seemed to stiffen for a moment, but then he returned the teasing with all his feelings. He also returned the fondling with passion.
The two of them for a moment were seen making out on the bridge like lovers.
After a while of making out wildly, Lusia released herself from Hendra's embrace. The young man seemed to be gasping for air, but he tried to calm himself down and felt completely wrong.
Lusia smiled seductively. "How? Do you want to go further? But you must return my love first ..." he whispered tenderly. His eyes were twinkling with a mischievous code.
The young man was stunned. Didn't expect the desperate action that Lusia had done to him.
But before Hendra answered, suddenly his grandmother's voice seemed to be in pain. "Aaaa ...! Aduuuuhhhh!"
The two of them were both stunned. Hendra hurried towards the hut. Lusia caught up with him.
There, in their hut they found the country girl sitting beside the bed, attacking an old woman who was lying weakly. The girl's grandmother.
Hendra walked over, while Lusia waited in the doorway. He did not dare to enter immediately.
"Why is your grandmother ...?" Hendra asked the girl. But Hendra doesn't seem to need that answer, because something he saw later was enough to make him take a few steps back.
His gaze was stunned when he saw that the grandmother had only her head, along with her abdominal organs lying on the bed.
Grandma is without a body!
But there are still organs such as the lungs, stomach, heart, intestines, and liver. And Hendra still saw the old woman's heart pumping her blood.
"My grandmother is a kuyang (kuyang = a human with a flying head and internal organs) who has lost her body," said the country girl with a gloomy face.
Hendra leaned against the wall of the hut, while Lusia let out a small cry as she closed her mouth.
"Don't be afraid. My grandmother is helpless. She is sick because she lost her body ..." said the girl again.
Hendra repeatedly took deep breaths, calming his racing heart. His eyes glared at the old woman who seemed to be panting for breath.
"Sit down ..." said the girl again.
"I'm okay ..." replied Hendra then. While catching his breath, he took a seat on the floor and leaned against the wall. Meanwhile, Lusia was still glued to the doorway.
His eyes could not escape from looking at the disembodied head, which was lying weakly on the bed on a mat.
"Your grandmother is all right? Oh, sorry if I was a little surprised earlier. I came here just to ask. Who knows you can help us find our way back from this area," he said later. The young man flicked his eyes for a moment. As if he still half-believed what he saw.
As far as he knows, the Kuyang is a legendary supernatural being in Kalimantan. A creature that usually appears in the form of a head followed by its organs which usually fly in search of its prey. Usually, the people targeted are women who are pregnant or giving birth.
And Hendra still finds it hard to believe that what he is dealing with is the creature that is touted as the Ouyang. What is right now in front of his eyes!
The grandmother who was left with her head moaned for a moment. His head turned slowly to look at Hendra with his white eyes.
"What did you do to get lost in this place?" The grandmother asked hoarsely.
"We were just taking a walk," said Hendra casually.
The grandmother coughed. His head wobbled, even slightly raised as if he was about to fly. Hendra moved his body back a little. Afraid lest the head and innards fly and attack him.
"What are you guys traveling to a place like this for ...?" The grandmother hissed. He then moaned again. The girl immediately drank something into the mouth of the grandmother. Red liquid, I don't know what.
"What happens if someone breaks through the forbidden forest?" Hendra ventured to ask.
The grandmother closed her eyes for a moment, then took several breaths. "Don't let that happen ..." the grandmother's head was shaking. His head turned back to Hendra.
