Secrets

Jack’s POV “Well?” she asks I don’t know what to say. I went because me and my wolf were antsy. We just wanted to see, not touch. I am a growing guy. Paris was so busy around that time so when I had some free time and she didn’t I just went. I was going to tell her but I decided not to since it was supposed to be a one time thing. I ended up going 3 more times and that was the biggest mistake ever.  “Paris I went when you didn’t have time and I had time. It was nothing more than that. I would have thought you would have been okay with me going.” I tell her  “That’s not the point. Just telling me then not would be nice for your girlfriend to know.” she says back to me  “Okay yes you are right. I will tell you or even ask you if it is okay, but I probably won’t anymore anyways. I don’t want to screw things up.” I say back to her  “And you won’t!” she says back to me  “I promise I won't, Paris. I won’t mess this up again.” I say back to her.  “Good” she says back to me  Oh she forgives me. I’m so glad. I’ve missed her so much  “I’m glad the next one won’t need to go through this as I did. I mean that was just you going to parties. I wonder what other things you have done without telling me.” she says  There are a lot of things I did the past weeks that I never want her to ever find out. If I tell her this she will never forgive me and I will never ever be able to be with her.  This will need to be taken to the grave. And wait? Did she say the next one?  “What do you mean for the next one?” I ask her “I meant that I am glad you won’t do this with the next woman in your life.”  she says to me  “What! What do you mean? I thought we resolved everything already.” I ask Paris “We did. I am moving on and you will be with your mate. We will go our separate ways.  How could you think I would be okay for another woman to kiss what is mine.” she says to me  “She called us hers.” my wolf says to me  I feel an intense electricity in me hearing her say that. I want her so bad  “I know and I am sorry for that. I should’ve figured it out from there. I never should have let her do that in the first place.” I say back to her. “But you give her a reason to do that. Girls don’t do things unless they have a reason to. It’s like she claimed you already like you were…  She stops and sits down and face palms her forehead.  “You were never mine. You were always hers.” she says to me  “In the werewolf mindset yes, but I make my own decisions.” I say back to her  “This now all makes sense. She was right.” she says softly  “Who is she? And right about what?” I ask her.  “Jack I want to go home. I haven’t slept much and this is all too much for me. I’m tired. Please can we just go?” she asks “Okay.” I say back to her.  We walk back to the car and drive back home. She falls asleep on the way there and I pull off to the side and let her lean on my while I hold her.  “I promise I will fix things. Just give me some time please.” I whisper to her sleeping.  Paris’s POV It’s been weeks and school is almost done. Jack has been giving me space while he figures things out on his own. Of course I am here wanting to be back with him but I can’t. When I realized that that girl was his mate and she was just doing what she was destined to do, I can’t be mad at her. That’s the deal with werewolves. They have fated mates who are destined to be with them. I can never take away something that is not mine.  And I am coming to an understanding of it too. I decided to go to prom with Danny and told Jack no. He is going by himself, but I am only doing this since I plan on leaving after this year. I am not going to stay in this damn town with all these crazy people.  “Well if it isn't the rejected.” Bethany says to me   I just walk away and try my best to leave her alone.  “What’s wrong Paris? I heard Jack isn’t going to prom with you. Sounds like another woman caught his eye. You know the one he has been hanging out with a lot? She says to me  “Yeah sounds like you’re right about that.” I say back to her  “That’s pathetic. But then again, I would want to leave you as well. You're ugly, you can’t dress for s**t, I don’t ever remember when the last time you took a shower and you caused people’s fathers to abandon their children. My dad is so pathetic to let you in our home.” she says to me  “What did you say?” I ask her  “Exactly what you heard.” she says back to me “I don’t care what you say about me, but your dad is something else.” I say back to her   “What are you going to do, tell on me? You’re not just rejected from your parents but now by your boyfriend.” she says to me  “Oh hell no! b***h your ass is mine!” I say to her  I’m about to drop, kick her ass and punch her in the stomach when a little voice says, “No please wait.”    I step back and look around for that voice. Where did it come from?   Boom! She sucker punches me behind my head and throws her backpack to my knees.  “That’s what you deserve. You are bound to this. Your life will always be like this Paris. Get used to it!” she tells me  “I’m sorry for this.” I hear that voice again But from where? I keep looking and looking and I don’t see any children. All I see is Bethany screaming her head off and that little voice trying to calm me. But who? Wait? This voice is right in front of me. I look up and all I see is Bethany. This makes no sense.  “I’m sorry. Please forgive her.” the voice says back to me  Wait!!!!!!!!!!!! That voice came from Bethany. And that is not Bethany’s voice. I get pulled over someone’s shoulder and look back at Bethany’s stomach. She instantly covers it and looks at me shocked. Is she? Is she really? Wait?????
